HISTORY
Pentti and Raija Hiltunen founded the Pitoteräs Ky machine workshop in 1982. The company started its production first at Kuopio, Neulamäki Industrial area, but soon moved to Oravikoski in 1987. At this time the company renamed itself to Oravikosken Konepaja Oy.
 At the beginning Pitoteräs Ky manufactured:
190 sq.m. of production premises included administrative and social facilities. Pitoteräs Ky had 7 employees.
ORAVIKOSKEN KONEPAJA OY TODAY
Oravikosken Konepaja is today the biggest manufacturer and supplier of pipe supports for industrial and process pipework in Finland. The total area of facilities is now around 5000 sq.m.

- Company is a contract supplier
for all the major power plant manufacturers and suppliers in Finland
- Company also supplies LISEGA pipe supports in Finland and in Baltic States
